Basic Info
Name:Warren Kenneth Worthington III
Birthdate:01-17
Location:Westchester County, New York, United States
Bio
Real Name: Warren Kenneth Worthington III
Code Name: Avenging Angel N/A
Alliance: His own, but likely to join the X-Men at some point
Origin: American
Age: 26
Grade: N/A

Powers:
White angel wings growing out of us shoulder blades, adapted eye membranes for high speed flight, adapted lungs for high altitude flight, stronger shoulder and back muscles.

Weakness:
Warren is too proud of himself and his family for his own good. He can get into pointless fights, trying to defend the Family Honor, even when the 'smear on their name' was only a joke. His enthusiasm for shiny new things also means he can discard old, less-shiny things quickly and move from unfinished project to unfinished project. Usually, these unfinished projects are simply not important enough for it to be crucial for them to be finished, but he'd never had any real stress or deadlines that he couldn't smooth-talk his way out of before.

Skills:
Economics-babble, Golf, Horse-riding, Flying (the regular kind, with airplanes), dancing, smooth-talking.

Appearance:
Tall, a bit over 6', with blond hair which is either modeled into stylish curls or stylish spikes. He prefers elegant wear, from a blue silk bed robe to a full Armani suite. He usually wears some form of coat, to hide his folded wings, but even that is always stylish. Following today's fashion, he's got a long, black, water-proof trench coat. You'll never catch him with his shirt out of his pants, with wrinkles in his clothes, or with his hair looking like he just woke up - even if he did just wake up. He color coordinates.

Personality:
Warren's young. He smiles a lot, and likes to have fun, mostly with fast-going things and women. He can be very spontaneous, doing something on a whim or not doing something because he doesn't feel like it. He procrastinates. He's into experimenting stuff, if he hasn't already experienced it.
He's also very curious, always interested in anything and everything that crosses his path. He was never tested for ADD, but odds are he's got a moderate version of it.

However, when the need arises and/or it's something important to Warren, he can be very serious and business-like. Without something like that to drive him, though, he'll opt for the thrilling and fun option.

Warren always expects things to go his way, one way or another. A mistake for him is simply caused by someone else not giving him sufficient data, or because of some outer interference. No one has ever dared blame him for something or accuse him of having a fault, so he doesn't think he has any, or that he is the cause of anything bad.
His parents were very protective and supportive of him. From a young age he was taught that Worthingtons were a better type of people, born to lead and excel in any field they try their hand in, and that they get to enjoy a good life because of it. That being honest, fighting for justice and always knowing what's right are inborn traits for their family.

After his parents' death he rethought all of these 'truths' he had been taught, and still reached the same conclusion. He's convinced his parents' death was the fault of someone else, and that now that they are in Heaven, they're probably running everything, making it better and more efficient, Up There. The least he can do is make sure things are running as smoothly Down Here too.

Belongings and pets:
No pets, and the only non-clothes-related object he always has on him is the harness holding his wings folded tightly to his body.

History:
Warren Worthington III was attending a private school in his adolescence when wings began to grow from his shoulder blade. The wings reached their full adult size within months, but Worthington kept them a secret by strapping them tightly to his back and concealing them under his clothes. At first he thought himself a freak. However, Worthington learned that he could use his wing to fly, and came to enjoy his new ability. Then, one night there was a fire in his dormitory, and he resolved to use his flying power to rescue the people inside. To conceal his identity, Worthington wore a long blond wig and a long nightshirt, so that he looked like an angel. The rescue was successful, and his identity remained a secret.
Shortly thereafter Warren's parents died in a car accident and feeling guilty about turning down their offer that day to drive to the country with them, knowing he could have done something, he became a costumed crime fighter in New York City under the name of the Avenging Angel.

He had little success.

He was a mutant, after all, and although he did well, the headlines always spoke of a winged freak disturbing the peace or damaging city property. He tried to ignore it, but half-way through college, the lack of recognition, in some cases, and outright disgust in others, made him realize that if he was going to do anything heroic, it'll have to be without the use of his winged and costumed identity.

He threw his costume away, finished his economics degree and took on the family business, which was left to its own devices after his father's death. As CEO, he did rather well, finding a natural talent within him for negotiations and management. He soon started diverting excess funds to small enterprises such as a Foundation for contribution to the city Police and Fire Department. He was responsible for the rebuilding of a few old neighborhoods which used to be minor crime zones and were now transformed into modern housings, and many more.

His mutation remained a closely kept secret, known only to him and his uncle.
Recent events however (especially Magneto's attack on Manhattan), have made him interested in the mutant group known as the X-Men.
His intelligence was only sufficient enough, however, to lead him to one name - Professor Charles Xavier.
Further research showed that Xavier's pet project, the School for Gifted Youngsters, was having financial difficulties.

This, Warren knew, would be an interesting investment.
